那些碎片有大有小，棱角鮮明
我將碎片拾起、一片片排列整齊
將其最後的姿態拍攝下來。
我用筆畫上花紋，
即使不能再盛裝鮮花，
它依然怒放。

Last April, during the big earthquake, a vase shattered in my home.
The fragments—sharp-edged, in all shapes and sizes—
I carefully gathered them, piece by piece, and laid them out in order,
capturing their final form in a photograph.
I drew patterns on the broken surfaces.
Though it could no longer hold flowers,
it continued to bloom.
